Opening via the flipper
While knife is closed, hold knife firmly allowing for knife opening to be clear to open blade. Then apply pressure with your index finger on the flipper. The more pressure, the faster the blade will fully open to locked position.
Unlocking the Blade
The blade will automatically secure when fully opened by the frame lock. To unlock the frame lock, simply push the left frame in the left direction with your thumb until blade is clear. Then push blade down to close. Be sure all fingers are clear before fully closing blade.

We at Factor Equipment are very confident that all of our products can and will serve your daily task for years to come. We warranty each of our products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product. What is not Covered
This warranty runs as long as you own your product unless your Factor Equipment product is modified in any way.
This warranty does not cover breakage or failure due to misuse. Our products are designed to be of high quality and it should be extremely rare that your product break due to effect. Usually they break or fail from what we consider abusive behavior (not covered by warranty):
The warranty can become void if:
- Our knives are used for any purpose other than cutting (improper use).
- The knife is modified in any way.
- There is damage caused by abuse, misuse, loss, improper handling, alterations, accident, neglect, disassembly, or improper sharpening.
- Repairs to your knife are performed by any other source
- unsuitable tasks like prying, pounding, chiseling, and hammering
- most blade tip breakage is not covered by our warranty.
Also, consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.
Misuse of your knife can cause serious injury or even death. It can also cause your knife to break or fail and the Factor Equipment limited lifetime warranty will not apply. Failure to properly maintain your knife also may cause its mechanisms to not function properly, which could result in injury to you or damage to the knife.
Like most tools, our knives should be cared for properly. As your knife has been used for an extended period of time, it is possible that the knife may need sharpening or maintenance to retain its usefulness. Any and all maintenance is the responsibility of the knife owner and is not covered by this warranty.
Warranty Claims
In the event that your Factor Equipment knife breaks under the terms of this warranty, please contact customer service by emailing support@factorequipment.com. A customer service representative will provide you with instructions for getting your product serviced. Shipping charges for repair or replacement are not covered under warranty.
Products that are discontinued and not repairable will be worked with on a case by case basis with each customer.

Ordered Tuesday Delivered Friday. Spoke to Factor Customer Service Thursday as to expected delivery and they said by Saturday. Under promise Over deliver, Love it!
I am not by any means a high end knife collector, but got started in this hobby/addiction enjoying the design/execution of folding knives. My first which I still own is a Benchmade Emerson CQC-7 in ATS34. Still smooth but she has seen hard use, and has been retired.
On to this knife.
The value could not be greater for under $100.00
Premium CPM S35V steel
Ceramic Bearings
6AL 4V Titanium and Carbon Fiber.
Overtravel stop, Steel lock bar insert, Custom Pivot, Milled Titanium backspacer, Spring Titanium Clip.
Action is comparable to some midtech’s I own, both open/close.
Solid lock up at approx. 20%, no lock stick.
I’ve seen videos where the clip has been modded for deeper carry, but find it acceptable as is, and carries nicely at 3.75 oz.
The blade has a finger choil, nice belly, and is a great slicer, yet the point profile is good for piercing as well. Fits nicely in my large hands with no hotspots.
For the price I am highly impressed.
Note: I am aware that there are some design characteristics that this knife shares with the Giant Mouse GM1. I feel however that there are substantial differences as well. If you go to Giant Mouse’s site you will see that this was a limited production of 300+100 variants and both sold out.
Neither of the GM1 models has carbon fiber scales, just titanium.
One major difference of the Factor Iconic is the lock bar relief is milled on the outside of the scale whereas the GM1 has internal milling, there are many other differences but I will not get into splitting hairs.
Suffice it to say that at this price this knife could just NOT be passed up.
It will be sharing edc time with my also brand new ZT 0055 designed by GTC.

This is the perfect size pocket knife. It is not too big/heavy where it is flopping around in a pair of shorts like a brick. The materials used in this knife is similar to those in the +$200 range. The blade is a flat ground drop point/sheeps foot shape slicer. The blade rides on ceramic bearings for smooth deployment. The blade was perfectly centered and had no blade play. The carbon fiber handle side appears to be basket weave design with Factors logo engraved in the handle. It looks very nice. There is no liner on the carbon fiber side, but it dose not appear to be an issue. The titanium lock bar has a blade stop that is most likely SS. I am very pleased with this knife and I am very seriously thinking of purchasing an all titanium. You will not find this design for this price anywhere.

I usually EDC a bigger blade, but went with the compact here for some spontaneous reason. I own folders worth upwards of 2k, and This has not vacated my pocket since I received it weeks ago. Says a lot as being that my collection suffers from 200+ knives. I’ve no idea (and have done no research) as to thIs knife’s country of origin, but Factor’s flashlights claim USA, so I’m assuming these follow suit. If not, no matter. The quality is there – S35VN /CF/TI. Blade centering and deployment, dead on. Highly recommend this as well every product I’ve purchased from Factor. I’m a flashlight junkie, too.

This knife is amazing. Extremely light and cool. The ball bearing makes opening the knife smooth and it doesn’t want to jump out of your hand like a springassited knife does. I own Kershaws, Spydercos and Benchmades and this knife compares to all of them. Fantastic product. I also carry the Mizpah 160, another awesome product!

Nice product! I own a Spyderco, ZT, and Benchmade knives! This is on the same level of quality and half the price! Great product and thanks for supporting active military.

Wonderful product! Great service. Cool way of building logo in handle. It’s like a shadow effect. I’m a huge fan. Also have a ghost flashlight I’ve carried for the last year that is amazing!
